<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enrich the variation of phosphorescent organometallic complex, to provide an organometallic complex having a high emission spectrum and a high emission efficiency, to provide a light-emitting element having enriched variation of luminous color by manufacturing the light-emitting element by using these organometallic complexes, and to provide a light-emitting element having a high color purity and a high emission efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: An organometallic complex having a structure represented by the following general formula (G1) is synthesized and applied to a light-emitting element. (In the formula, R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>represents any one of an alkyl group of 1-4C, or an alkoxy group of 1-4C, or an alkoxycarbonyl group of 1-5C. R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">3</SP>represent any one of hydrogen, or an alkyl group of 1-4C. Ar represents an arylene group of 6-25C.
