Provided are a method and an apparatus for detecting an intrusion on a cloud computing service. An elementary detector monitors a virtual machine provided by the clouding computing service, and generates an elementary alarm based on the result of monitoring. An intrusion detecting and determining device compares the elementary alarm and a local database to determine whether an intrusion on a clouding computing service has occurred. The intrusion detecting and determining device generates a hyper alarm upon determining that an intrusion has occurred. An intrusion detecting and managing device compares the hyper alarm and a global database to determine whether an intrusion has occurred.
