摘要 <p>The method involves determining future information for traffic conditions of a vehicle (101) based on a current state of a vehicle and historical data (102) by a time window or a simulation process that is performed by a microscopic model or a macroscopic model, where the current state is selected from a group consisting of a position of the vehicle, speed of the vehicle, a road to be driven, a direction and/or an objective. The historical data is transferred to the vehicle over a mobile communication interface. An action is executed based on the traffic conditions. The historical data is selected from a group consisting of traffic density, average speed, speed curve, journey time, traffic light cycle, traffic volume and/or traffic condition. The future information is selected from a group consisting of information from different vehicle, information from a transport infrastructure component, information from a traffic control center, traffic information, information of a digital map, information of a driver assistance system, online data, position of a jam, a future velocity curve, a future acceleration curve, waiting time and queue length at a traffic system, speed strategy when approaching a traffic system and/or safe and efficient driving speed recommendation. The action is selected from a group consisting of an optical feedback, a haptic feedback, intervention into controlling of the vehicle, manufacturing a communication link and/or transmitting a message. An independent claim is also included for a device for predicting traffic conditions for a vehicle.</p>
