<p>The present invention is provided with an operation input-type display device, and a control device which detects the operation input state with respect to the operation input-type display device and controls the display state with respect to the operation input-type display device. The control device is provided with an image processing unit which detects an operation input location which is to be of a predetermined length of time with respect to the operation input-type display device, and in relation to the operation input location within displayed data displayed upon the operation input-type display device, specifies an image displayed within the pre-set range as an area image. The image processing unit identifies an area of the predetermined range within the area image in accordance with the state of variation of characteristics of data within the specified area image in order to extract the area of the predetermined range as a character display area.</p> |
