<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, an imaging apparatus, and an image processing method capable of composing even continuously shot images including blur caused by shaking of hands when photographing into one sheet of image by accurately and simply extracting a moving-object region from each background region. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing system 4 comprises: a size reduction unit 41 which creates reduced continuously-shot images by reducing continuously-shot images composed of plural still images obtained by continuously photographing a moving object; a mask creation unit 42 which creates reduced moving-object extraction mask images by extracting moving-object regions from the reduced continuously-shot images; a size restoration unit 43 which creates moving-object extraction mask images by expanding the reduced moving-object extraction mask images to restore it into a size which the continuously-shot images have before the reduction by the size reduction unit 41; and a composition unit 44 which obtains moving-object images by extracting moving object regions from the continuously-shot images using the moving-object extraction mask images and composes the moving-object images into a predetermined sheet of continuously-shot images. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
