<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery method and recovery system for a permanent magnet capable of facilitating recovery of a permanent magnet from a motor or a generator for reuse. <P>SOLUTION: A recovery method for a permanent magnet includes a heating process of heating a permanent magnet mounted on a fixing section through resin material under a depression condition, and a removal process of removing the resin material from the permanent magnet after heating. Preferably, a heating temperature is not lower than Curie point of the permanent magnet.
