<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authenticity verification device and the like making a fraudulent use by forgery difficult, and facilitating an addition and deletion of a verification item according to a facility environment and a security level. <P>SOLUTION: An object 10 having random and inseparable unique physical features is provided with a verification parameter 13 in which the number of verifications, a method for reading the physical features, a method for calculating an eigenvalue from the physical features and the like are specified. A verification device 2 reads the verification parameter 13 by a verification information acquiring device 21; reads the unique physical features of the object 10 by a physical feature reader 22 according to the read verification parameter 13; calculates the eigenvalue from the read physical features; and compares it with a true eigenvalue. By the setting of the verification parameter 13, the verification device changes the reading method for the physical features and the eigenvalue calculating method from the physical features to calculate a plurality of eigenvalues, compares each eigenvalue with the true eigenvalue to execute a verification process and, when all the eigenvalues match the true eigenvalue, defines the object 10 as a true. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
