<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of setting oil clearance without disassembling a cylinder block. <P>SOLUTION: A final torque difference 3 is calculated from a finish final torque 1 and assembly final torque 2. Inner diameter reproductivity is calculated from the torque difference. A shaft hole inner diameter after assembly 11 is calculated from the calculated inner diameter reproductivity 4 and a shaft hole inner diameter 5 after finishing measured in advance. An expansion amount 8 of the shaft hole inner diameter after assembly is calculated from the shaft hole inner diameter 5 after finishing and a crush height 6 of lower metal and crush heights 7 of upper metal are respectively measured. An inner diameter 12 of the shaft hole to which the metal is attached is calculated from the expansion amount 8 of the shaft hole inner diameter after assembly, a thickness 9 of the upper metal, a thickness 10 of the lower metal and the shaft hole inner diameter 11 after assembly. Then, the oil clearance 14 is calculated by subtracting an outer diameter 13 of a crankshaft measured in advance from the inner diameter 12 of the shaft hole to which the metal is attached. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
