METHOD FOR PRODUCING SPHERICAL CALCIUM CARBONATE FINE PARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method by which highly stable spherical calcium carbonate fine particle can be obtained by adding a minute amount of amino acid.

SOLUTION: The spherical calcium carbonate having a size of a crystallite of 3 nm to 30 nm can be obtained by reacting calcium chloride aqueous solution and sodium carbonate aqueous solution of the same moles prepared to 0.8 M to 1.6 M at a room temperature while adding glycine aqueous solution as one of amino acid aqueous solution.
