<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power regeneration device for a work machine, which can prevent overcharging of a storage battery without increasing the capacity of the storage device. <P>SOLUTION: The power regeneration device for a work machine includes: an oil passage 31 which is connected to a bottom-side oil pressure chamber of an oil pressure cylinder 3a and through which return oil that returns to a tank 6A flows when the oil pressure cylinder is contracted; a branching section 32 provided in the oil passage and splits the oil passage into a plurality of oil passages; a regeneration pipe line 33 which is connected to the branching section and guides the return oil to the tank via a hydraulic motor 11 to which an electric generator 12 is connected; a control valve pipe line 34 which is connected to the branching section and guides the return oil to the tank via a control valve 2; an operation quantity detection means 16 which detects an operation quantity of an operation device 4; an electrical storage device 15 which stores electric power generated by the electric generator 12; a charge quantity detection means 17 which detects a charge quantity in the electrical storage device; and a flow rate calculation means 9 which, in accordance with a charge quantity signal from the charge quantity detection means, calculates each of the flow rate of the return oil flowing through the regeneration pipe line and the flow rate of the return oil flowing through the control valve pipe line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
