A search device (101) acquires a designated dimension for designation in a search query from the position of an object at a position determined at the discretion of the user. A detector (102) detects the respective positions of a plurality of objects, the positions of which change within actual space at the discretion of the user. A computing portion (103) computes a designated dimension at the discretion of the user, from the detected positions of the plurality of objects. From a product database for management of product records that have, at a minimum, product size and product images, a search portion (104) searches for a product record having a product size that meets a search parameter based on the computed designated dimension. A display (105) displays on a screen the product image included in the retrieved product record.
