From the data (24) generated by this optical measurement, the position and the orientation of the measurement body (11) are subsequently determined relative to the sub-region (16) of the tooth structures (3) and, based on this optical measurement data (24) and using the determined position and orientation of the measurement body (11) and/or the known dimensions of a drill to be used and/or the position of a stop surface (8) on the drilling jig (1) for the drill to be used, a virtual actual-implant drilling model (26) is produced, which actual-implant drilling model (26) is compared in terms of its position and its orientation to a planned virtual target-implant drilling model (29) from a previous implantation plan.
