The mechanical loading device (1) has a control unit which executes charging program so as to charge a rechargeable battery (2). The charging of vehicle battery is performed based on executed charging program. The charging program is executed based on reception of electric vehicle authorization information. An independent claim is included for method for charging battery of electric vehicle.
