A disk brake for a vehicle is provided to promptly release braking operation by allowing a wedge member to be spaced apart from a disk using a resilient member applying elastic force on a disk. A disk brake for a vehicle comprises a disk(10) rotating together with a vehicle wheel, friction pads(20a,20b) provided at both sides of the disk, a wedge member(60) having one side fixed to the friction pad and an opposite side formed with a wedge surface(62), a guide member(70), a driving motor(50), and a power transmission member(90). The guide member includes a guide surface(71) corresponding to the wedge surface and is coupled with the wedge member to increase the braking force. The power transmission member includes a plurality of shaft coupling portions(91) reciprocating on a rotation shaft. |
