HIGH-STRENGTH STEEL SHEET EXCELLENT IN GALLING RESISTANCE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-strength steel sheet excellent in galling resistance for sufficiently suppressing galling while avoiding a great increase in cost, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof.

SOLUTION: In the high-strength steel sheet, an oxide particle-containing region 3 in which oxide particles containing Si and/or Mn whose particle size is 20 nm or more are dispersed with a mean interparticle distance of 2.5 μm or less exists at an average depth in the range of 0.3-15 μm from the surface, the average particle size of the oxide particles in the region 3 is 0.3 μm or less, and the average hardness in a part of 30 μm in depth from the interface with the region 3 is Hv 250 or more.
