<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform predetermined processing for pattern data having a plurality of hierarchized cells without providing severe design restriction. <P>SOLUTION: A common intrusion area calculation processing unit 205 associates, for every cell, an area in which an external pattern intrudes in the cell as a common intrusion area with the cell. An influence range calculation processing unit 214 calculates, on the basis of the common intrusion area, an area required to perform predetermined processing along with the external pattern in each cell as an influence range of the cell, according to the content of the predetermined processing for the pattern data. A common data area calculation processing unit 215 calculates an area obtained by excluding the influence range of the cell from a cell data present area, as the common data area of the cell. A graphical processing unit 206 performs the predetermined processing once for the common data area of each cell, performs the predetermined processing for the influence range along with the external pattern intruding in the cell, and performs the predetermined processing for the pattern data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
