<p>A collapsible lens barrel (2) is provided with an optical system constituted by a plurality of optical elements that include a lens group (301) for correcting image blurring and which is accommodated in the barrel and a lens holder that holds the lens group (301) and moves the lens group (301) to a position outside of the optical axis of the optical system when the barrel is collapsed. The lens holder includes a vibration prevention member (312) that holds the lens group (301), a base member (314) that movably supports the vibration prevention member, and a blur correction mechanism that moves the vibration prevention member according to image blur. When the barrel is collapsed, the entire lens holder is moved to a position outside of the optical axis, and another lens group that differs from the lens group (301) is accommodated in the space arising with the movement of the lens holder.</p> |
