METHOD, BASE STATION, AND USER EQUIPMENT FOR SENDING ENHANCED CONTROL SIGNALING

A method, base station and user equipment for sending enhanced control signaling are applicable to the mode of coordinated multi-point transmission. The method comprises: a pico base station sending enhanced physical control format indicator channel (E-PCFICH) signaling to a user equipment configured with the mode, the E-PCFICH comprising a control signaling length; the control signaling length being the control signaling length of a pico cell or the maximum value of the control signaling length of a macrocell and the control signaling length of a pico cell. By means of the embodiments of the present invention, the E-PCFICH comprising a control signaling length is adopted in a pico cell, so that the user equipment is capable of determining the PDSCH starting position of the pico cell data region by use of the control signaling length, thereby solving the problem of failing to accurately determine the data region of a pico cell in a CoMP mode and guaranteeing that the user equipment UE receives data correctly.
