PURPOSE: A telematics terminal and a route guiding method thereof are provided to provide a coupon to the telematics terminal by the cooperation between a discount coupon service enterprise and a social commerce enterprise, thereby promoting shops/products. CONSTITUTION: A telematics terminal comprises a wireless communication unit(110) and a control unit(120). The wireless communication unit receives location information of a coupon list and places through wireless communications from an information server(200). The control unit requests the location information of the place where the coupon can be valid and guides a route to the place based on the location information when at least one coupon is selected from the coupon list by a user.
