<p>According to this invention there is provided an adjustable base plate structure for a transit door comprised of a plurality of fixed dimension elements and a plurality of variable dimension elements for accommodating a plurality of door sizes and types. The base plate structure comprises a roller channel for spanning the width of the door and a center brace for being secured to the channel centered on the roller channel.
