This flameproof spun yarn includes polyarylate-based fiber and acrylic-based fiber containing an antimony compound, and contains 1-30 wt% of the polyarylate-based fiber relative to the total weight of the flameproof spun yarn. This flameproof fabric includes polyarylate-based fiber and acrylic-based fiber containing an antimony compound, and contains 1-30 wt% of the polyarylate-based fiber relative to the total weight of the flameproof fabric. This garment and flameproof work garment include the flameproof fabric. The present invention thereby provides, at low cost, a flameproof spun yarn, flameproof fabric, and garment and flameproof work garment using the same, which offer excellent aesthetics and flameproof properties.
