The ride (1) has a robot with a robotic arm (2) that comprises multiple electrical drives connected to a control device (9). The control device controls the electrical drives for a movement of the robotic arm such that links comprise positions of axes associated with the movement. A display device displays a film sequence during the movement of the robotic arm, where the film sequence comprises multiple successive images. Information about an association of the images with corresponding positions of the robotic arm axes is stored in the control device. The links consists of a stationary or movable frame (3), a carousel (4), a rocker arm (5), a crossbar (6) and a multi-axis robotic hand (7). The axes consist of a vertically running axis (A1), a horizontal axis (A2) and a pivot axis (A3). The display device consists of a film projector (14) and a canvas (15) such as flat image screen. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a carnival ride. |
