In another aspect the measuring cylinder 10 has a fill mark 15, and a maximum volume of water containable in the chamber 14 between the closed end 11 of the measuring cylinder 10 and the fill mark 15 is equal to a volume of water required to dissolve an integer multiple of the predetermined quantity of the water soluble composition to form a solution comprising one or more substances of the composition at a predetermined concentration in water. In another aspect the chamber 14 has a length from the closed end to the fill mark 15, a width in a direction perpendicular to the length and measured at the fill mark 15, and the length is at least 2.5 times the width i.e. the length to width ratio is 2.5.</p> |
