<p>The aircraft i.e. helicopter (1) has two propulsive propellers (30) on either side of a fuselage (2) and positioned on respective half-wings (21, 22), and a transmission system (40) connecting a power plant (10) to each propeller via a differential mechanism (50). The mechanism includes an inlet gearwheel (51) secured to a shell (52) carrying a planet gear (54), an idler shaft (55) passing through the gearwheel, and a propeller shaft (58) rotating with an outlet sun gear (57). A propeller brake (60) brakes the propeller shaft, and an inlet brake (65) brakes the idler shaft.</p> |
