Method, computer program and electronic device for rendering an annotated web document

The method involves displaying an annotated Web document including an added annotation (23), where the annotated Web document includes an upper Web element (25A) e.g. HTML element, having one annotation and a lower Web element (25B) arranged below the upper Web element. A touch or mouse event e.g. touch start event associated with the upper Web element is detected. The upper Web element is hidden after the detection of the event. A target Web element (25C) corresponding to the lower Web element located directly below the event, is determined, and the event is sent to the target Web element. An independent claim is also included for an electronic device comprising a processing unit, a data viewer, an Internet browser application and an annotation application.
