PURPOSE: A manufacturing method for a frictional material is provided to offer an NAO frictional material which does not contain copper and copper elements. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method for a frictional material comprises the following steps: obtaining a frictional material mixture by injecting and mixing the mixture of raw materials; injecting the mixture into a kneading machine; heating the inner temperature of the kneading machine to more than the melting temperature of thermosetting resin and less than the hardening temperature thereof; obtaining the mixture by pressurizing inside the kneading machine; injecting the mixture into a mold; and obtaining the molded frictional material by pressurizing and molding by a press device.
