PURPOSE: A color correction system and a color correcting method including an image processing device and a display device are provided implement accurate color correcting of the display device corresponding to intension of a user by including a color correction performing part. CONSTITUTION: A first interface part(310) and a second interface part(410) communicate with an external display device. A graphic card part(320) outputs a graphic image and first color patch information. A color correction performing part(330) receives the graphic image and the first color patch information. The color correction performing part produces second color patch information. The color correction performing part transmits the graphic image and the second color patch information to the display device through the interface part. Control parts(340, 440) control the color patch displayed on a display device(400) for controlling the color correction performing part to perform color correction.
