A H9 AVIAN INFLUENZA VIRUS-LIKE PARTICLE VACCINE AND A USE OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: A H9 avian influenza virus-like particle vaccine is provided to ensure safety and immunogenicity, and to reduce the number of chickens which discharge viruses from a respiratory organ and gastrointestinal tract. CONSTITUTION: A H9 avian influenza virus-like particle(VLP) contains A/Chicken/Korea/01310/2001(H9N2) virus-derived hemagglutinin(HA) protein and MI protein. The HA protein and the M1 protein have amino acids in sequence numbers 1 and 2, receptively. A vaccine composition contains the VLP, and a carrier or a diluent. The vaccine composition further contains an adjuvant, ISA70.
