<p>The chuck (1) has a base body (4) attached to a machine tool. Two clamping jaws (6, 7) are held in a movable arrangement in the base body. An actuating element (21) i.e. piston, is held in an axially movable arrangement in the base body. The actuating element is connected in a force-locking arrangement with a wedge rod (9). Centering devices (11) are supported on the base body and provided laterally offset to the clamping jaws. The centering devices are actuated selectively jointly, synchronously and independently from each other and independently from the clamping jaws.</p> |
