The method involves introducing a cork (18) totally or partly to a bottle neck (16), which is totally or partly irradiated with high frequency radiation of certain range through the glass. Multiple corks are irradiated simultaneously corresponding to multiple bottles (10). An independent claim is included for a device for irradiating of corks in bottles.
