<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast reception device capable of acquiring program information more efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: In the broadcast reception device 100, a first determination means determines whether a program is being viewed at predetermined program information acquisition time. When the first determination means determines that no program being viewed, a first acquisition means performs program information acquisition processing. When the first determination means determines that a program is being viewed, a second determination means determines whether there is a channel at a program stop based upon a second storage means after the viewing of the program being viewed ends, and when the second determination means determines that there is no channel at a program stop, a second acquisition means performs program information acquisition processing. When the second determination means determines that there is a channel at a program stop, a third acquisition means specifies the program stop end time that is latest in channels during program stop, based on the second storage means, and program information acquisition processing is performed just after the specified program stop end time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
