<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuning-fork piezoelectric vibrator in which a tip end of a vibration arm does not contact a package bottom so as not to cause damage due to falling impact or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The tuning-fork piezoelectric vibrator (20) includes: a base (29) having a first surface and a second surface; a pair of vibration arms (21) which are projected from one end of the base, have a first width (W1), and have a first thickness (D1) between the first surface side and the second surface side; a tip end (22) which is formed at a tip end side of the pair of vibration arms (21), has a second width (W6) wider than the first width, and has a second thickness (D2) thicker than the first thickness; and a notch part (24) formed at a corner of the tip end. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
