<p>Fishing adapters (2;4) for pulling a cable or the like through a hole drilled in a wall or other structure comprising a drill bit connector (2b;4b) to enable the adapter (2;4) to be demountably attached to a drill bit (1) and an item connector (2c;3;4a) to enable a cable or other elongate/ linear item to be attached to the adapter (2;4), wherein the adapter (2;4) further has a rotary coupling (2d;4d) between the drill bit connector (2b;4b) and the item connector (2c;3;4a) to permit the drill bit (1) to rotate as the adapter (2;4) with cable or other elongate/ linear item attached is pulled through a drilled hole without significantly twisting said cable or other elongate/ linear item.</p> |
