PURPOSE: An ultra slim X-ray tube for brachytherapy is provided to obtain a cooling system and a vacuum keeping function. CONSTITUTION: An ultra slim X-ray tube for brachytherapy comprises an anode(100), a cathode(200), a gate unit(210), and an outside body(300). The anode is arranged on the top of an electron emission unit and generates X-rays. The cathode is made of metal and alloy materials with high conductivity. The gate unit is arranged on the top of the cathode and focuses electronic beam by inducing electron emission. The outside body has an insulation function. |
