PURPOSE: A producing method of cerium carbonate powder is provided to easily control the size and shape of the cerium carbonate powder by adjusting the pH of a precursor solution without a synthesis process or the change of a processing condition. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of cerium carbonate powder comprises a step of precipitate-reacting a cerium precursor and carbonic acid precursor solution by adjusting the pH of the solution in to 0~3. A cerium precursor is either cerium nitrate or cerium acetate. The content of the cerium precursor is 1~10M. A carbonic acid precursor is selected from urea, ammonium carbonate, and ammonium bicarbonate. |
