The apparatus (1) has several operating devices (16-20) that are laid opposite to rotary worktable (14) in radial direction and are designed for processing of container blanks (4). A conveyor (40) is designed for conveyance of components of container blanks, and for container blanks along conveyor section between component mounting and assigned operating device. A component mounting (41) is located in one circle segment shaped surface section (48), to supplement other surface section determined by circular orbit section shaped conveyance path (46) to make full circle. An independent claim is included for a method for operation of processing apparatus.
