<p>The invention relates to a product gripper for picking up a product (12), having two shovels (18) and a driving means (22) for moving the shovels (18) between a first position, in which the shovels (18) can be placed onto a support for the product to be picked up, on opposite sides of the product (12) to be picked up, and a second position, in which the shovels (18) are located at least partially under the product (12) to be picked up. The product gripper further has a holder (34) for fixing the product (12) to be picked up while the shovels (18) are moved thereunder. The holder (34) comprises a belt (44) disposed on the underside thereof, facing the product (12) to be picked up, and a mechanism for arching the belt (44) outwards in the direction of the product (12) to be picked up.</p> |
