A hinge comprises a recessed member 3 with slots 5 and 6 in its walls in which are held pins 7 and 8 of the other hinge member 4. The members each carry a projection 10 and 9 which are so disposed that when the hinge is in one limit position (see Fig. 2 not shown), the projections abut one another and form a "cover" for the recess of member 3 to prevent ingress of dust &c. In the embodiment described, one edge of projection 10 serves as a guide for the member 4 when members 3 and 4 are near the limiting position corresponding to "closed". |
