PURPOSE: A liquid crystal polyester cord for a tire reinforcing belt, and a pneumatic tire including the same are provided to improve durability and control stability of high speed of the tire by excellent fatigue resistance, high strength, and modulus. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic tire including a liquid crystal polyester cord for a tire reinforcing belt, liquid crystal polyester fibers are denoted by chemical formula 1. The cutting strong interaction of the liquid crystal polyester fibers is 40kgf or greater. The cutting elongation of the liquid crystal polyester fibers is 10% or less. The array density of the liquid crystal polyester fibers is 17-32 EPI. The conditioned size of the liquid crystal polyester fibers is 500 D/I - 2500 D/I. |
