PURPOSE: A nano-composite membrane and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to obtain low fouling behavior by using carbon nano-tubes which are surface treated with HNO_3 and H_2SO_4. CONSTITUTION: A nano-composite membrane includes carbon nano-tubes and polyethersulfone. The carbon nano-tubes are multi-walled carbon nano-tubes and are surface treated with HNO_3 and H_2SO_4. The volume ratio of the HNO_3 and the H_2SO_4 is between 1:1 and 4:1. The weight ratio of the carbon nano-tubes and the polyethersulfone is between 1:25 and 1:200. The surface treated carbon nano-tubes are dispersed in an organic solvent. The dispersed carbon nano-tubes are mixed with the polyethersulfone to obtain the nano-composite. The nano-composite is casted. |
