Flame retardant organopolysiloxane composition

Particulate magnesium hydroxide coated with a mixture of silicon and aluminum compounds is blended with an organopolysiloxane and an organosilicon compound to form a flame retardant organopolysiloxane composition. The composition flows well and cures into a product which is devoid of bubble formation and has excellent heat resistance and flame retardancy.
