Method for landline availability and suitable mobile telephone terminal

The method involves providing a calling subscriber (1), and a mobile radio terminal (3) e.g. smart phone, and registering a mobile phone number on a voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) platform (4). A connection request is transmitted for setting a call connection with the VoIP platform. The connection request and a signal for a call are transmitted by a fixed network call number of a called participant (2) between the platform and the mobile radio terminal for transfer of data session. An independent claim is also included for a mobile radio terminal.
