摘要 A flow control assembly is provided, including a member (20) and a wall (22). The member has a surface, a flow diverting member (30) and a rail member (32). The rail member (32) is situated upstream of the flow diverting member (30). The flow diverting member (30) and the rail member (32) each project from the surface of the member (20). The flow diverting member (30) has a distal end. The wall (22) is disposed in relation to the member (20) to create a clearance gap (38) between the distal end (36) of the flow diverting member (30) and the wall (22). A fluid path (40) is created between the member (20) and the wall (22), and flows from an upstream section (42) and through the clearance gap (38). A first chamber (44) and a second chamber (46) are defined by the wall (22) and located upstream of the clearance gap (38). A corresponding turbine is also provided.
