<p>Provided is a grain-oriented magnetic steel sheet reduced in iron loss by magnetic-domain refinement. When layers of the grain-oriented magnetic steel sheet are stacked and used as a transformer core, etc., the core is inhibited from generating a noise. A grain-oriented magnetic steel sheet having a coating film which has a total length of surface cracks of 20 µm or less per 10,000 µm2 is subjected to magnetic-domain refinement by imposing thermal strain thereon linearly in a direction crossing the rolling direction of the steel sheet, at a given interval along the rolling direction, thereby regulating the warpage of the steel sheet to 3 mm or less per 500 mm of the rolling-direction length.</p> |
