PURPOSE: A multi-head type sewing machine is provided to reduce the load delivered to each shaft and the cost of installation and maintenance of the multi-head type sewing machine by using two lower-power drive motors and to improve the quality of embroidery by presenting accurate movement of the needle bar and the bobbin case due to the minimized twist angle of the upper and bottom shafts. CONSTITUTION: A multi-head type sewing machine is constituted with a work table(1) and beams(3) for installing heads on the work table. On the upper shaft(5) on which multiple heads are installed in parallel, multiple needle bars are installed. On the lower shaft(7), multiple bobbin cases corresponding to needle bars are installed. A driving shaft(15) rotating by a drive motor(13) is located in parallel with the upper shaft, wherein a transmission equipment such as a timing belt is installed between the driving shaft and the upper shaft in order to transfer the accurate torque. The multi-head type sewing machine is constituted with at least two driving shafts. Drive motors connected to each driving shaft provide the rotation driving power to the driving shafts. One of the upper or bottom shaft is divided into two parts. |
