APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PERSONAL SECURITY WITH SMARTPHONE

PURPOSE: A device for a personal data protection service and a service providing method utilizing a smart phone are provided to use an emergency call service when a user having a smart phone is in emergency. CONSTITUTION: An emergency call device(100) includes a power supply unit(101), an emergency call control unit(102), a status display unit(103), an information alarm unit(104), and a communication control unit(105). The emergency call control unit is connected to the smart phone through WPNA and is provided by adding an additional function to a bluetooth headset. The power supply unit controls a power status of the device. The emergency call control unit facilitates emergency call operation for a user. The status display unit displays the power status and the operational status of the device. The information alarm unit receives alarm of the smart phone and displays the alarm to a user while maintaining communication. The communication control unit requests communication with the smart phone and maintains acceptance.
