PURPOSE: An apparatus for proportionally operating a finger for a building drum is provided to differentially operate fingers in proportion to the difference of rotational angles between the mutually rotating fingers, thereby forming a green tire of which the left and the right side are uniform using the identical velocities and pressure forces of the fingers. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(100) for proportionally operating a finger for a building drum comprises multiple pair of fingers(110), an operating cylinder(120), a finger rotation detecting sensor(130), and a finger operation controller(140). The fingers are respectively and rotatably coupled to movable frames at both sides of the drum. One end portion of the finger is fixed to the hinge of the frame, and a compressing roller is equipped at the other end portion of the finger. The finger rotation detecting sensors measure the rotational angle of each finger rotating on each hinge at the both sides of the drum. The finger operation controller proportionally controls the operating cylinders in order to identically operate the fingers at the both sides of the drum according to the difference between the rotational angles of the fingers measured by the finger rotation detecting sensors.
