A blow molded container of Polyethylenterephthalat (PET) or a similar thermoplastic polymer resin for storing fluid products comprises an injection molded neck and a spout (6) comprising a bulge portion (10) integral with the container body (2) and provided with a spout passage (12) and a closure (8) for closing off the passage. The closure (8) is attached to the bulge portion (10) by an adhesive (14). A method of manufacturing such a container is also described.
