PURPOSE: A method for preparing modified illite, and a modified illite master chip, a modified illite polypropylene fiber, and an industrial or agricultural non-woven fabric using the same are provided to improve the heat radiation and antibacterial properties. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing modified illite comprises: a step of putting 1kg of natural illite ingredient into a rotary stirrer; a step of spraying 10 wt% of a Fe(NO3)3·6H2O solution and diluting; a step of drying the mixture at 90>= for 3 hours; a step of inputting the dried illite into a reducing furnace; a step of injecting nitrogen gas and heating at 300>= for 20 minutes to remove the moisture; a step of heating the inside of the reducing furnace to 600-700>= and injecting hydrogen at 0.05Nm^2-H2/Hr; a step of firing for 2 hours and re-injecting nitrogen; a step of cooling to 70>=.
