A control method for a sleeping mode of an air conditioner is provided to change room temperature according to the sleeping cycle of a human and the change of body temperature for pleasant sleeping. As a sleeping mode is determined, a plurality of sub modes are carried out(230). In before-retiring mode(240), room temperature is decreased by a first temperature with reference to a set room temperature. In rising mode(260), the set room temperature is increased by a second temperature with reference to the set room temperature. In in-bed mode(250), the room temperature is increased by the first temperature from the set room temperature and then decreased to the set room temperature periodically in cooling operation, while the room temperature is decreased by the first temperature from the set room temperature and then increased to the set room temperature in heating operation. |
